Video: Barcelona star watches title celebrations from hospital bed | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ferran Torres uploaded a bittersweet video to social media this weekend.

This comes with the attacker having been forced to watch on from afar, as his teammates celebrated their La Liga title triumph.

Barcelona are of course fresh off securing their status as Spanish champions, on Thursday night.

After making the short trip to Espanyol for a La Liga clash, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 2-0 result, to put themselves out of reach of 2nd-placed Real Madrid.

Playing no part in as much was the aforementioned Ferran Torres, who was taken in for emergency appendicitis surgery the night before the clash.

The former Manchester City man has spent the days since in a hospital bed as a result.

As alluded to above, though, this did not stop Ferran from following his side’s title celebrations as best he could over the last 48 hours.

As showcased in the footage below, posted to the Spanish international’s Instagram account, Ferran watched Barcelona’s open-top bus parade from his hospital bed:
