Lazio will take on Bodo/Glimt away from home in the Europa League quarter-final first leg on Thursday night, but the pitch at the Aspmyra Stadion in Norway was completely covered in snow first thing this morning.
A blizzard has fallen over the region of Bodo over the past 24 hours, which has left most of the city covered in around 7 cm of snow, including the pitch at the Aspmyra Stadion, where tonight’s Europa League quarter-final first leg is set to take place.

Fortunately, these sorts of weather conditions are not a novelty in the local area, and the Aspmyra Stadion turf is artificial, which means there is little risk of a frozen or waterlogged pitch.
UEFA have confirmed that tonight’s game will go ahead as expected.
The pitch is heated and is ‘snow-proof’, and there were two ploughs out on the pitch on Thursday to clear any residue snow off the playing surface, according to the latest reports.
