It’s our first away game of the Barclays Women’s Super League campaign on Sunday as we travel to Aston Villa in the day’s later kick-off (4.30pm UK).

Robert de Pauw is a new name in the dugout in the WSL this season, having joined Villa as manager from Bayer Leverkusen, but his first game in charge saw them fall to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Opposite them, we’ll be looking to build on our impressive start to the 2024/25 campaign after a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace in our season opener.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match…

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match will be streamed live on the Barclays Women’s Super League YouTube Channel, kick-off 4.30pm UK.

You can also keep up to date with minute-by-minute text updates on our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app.

Video highlights of all the action will be available on SPURSPLAY on Monday.

What is the team news?

Amy James-Turner (concussion), Kit Graham (ACL) and Shuang Wang are all sidelined for our trip to Villa Park.

Defender Luana Buhler is set to be assessed on Saturday whether she can be involved in the encounter, while Robert confirmed that Ella Morris could be back in contention after she trained all week.

Villa will be without captain Rachel Corsie due to a knee problem, while Anna Leat, Georgia Mullett and Jill Baijings are also set to be unavailable.

Summer signing Gabi Nunes, who joined from Spanish side Levante UD, could feature in the matchday squad, with de Pauw saying in his pre-match press conference: “We’re still building with Gabi. It looks like it could be this week that she is involved in games.”

Who is the referee?

Lauren Impey will take charge of Sunday’s clash with Villa.

She will be assisted by Levi Gray and Laura Van Lier, with Ella Broad as the fourth official.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Villa will wear claret shirts with light blue sleeves, claret shorts and light blue socks.

Their goalkeeper will be in an all-black strip.

We’ll be in our home kit, Lilywhite shirts, navy shorts and white socks, with our keeper in an all-yellow strip.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s set to be dry throughout the morning and ahead of kick-off before rain is due to fall during the game. Temperatures should be around 12 degrees.
