Villarreal midfielder Manu Trigueros is happy with his form this season.
The midfielder has equalled his best ever goalscoring season, with seven goals thus far.
He said, “You have to value it positively. It seems easy, but it is anything but easy. I'm focused on the work I'm doing hear. I don't take penalties or free-kicks. I've always considered myself a midfielder who gets into the box, someone who likes to be there if there's a ball coming in from the wing. It's one of my talents.
“As my father used to say, goals are like loves. But above everything else, I'm very happy to be helping the team, because if you score and your side lose, you're not happy.
“I'm going to try and continue to score to help the time. I like playing in the final third, being an attacking midfielder, or cutting inside after playing wide. Playing as a No.9 is harder, with your back to goal, it's not my position, but I can do it."
