Villarreal stars pick between Lamine Yamal and Vinícius Jr. | OneFootball

Several members of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Villarreal this week revealed their preference in the debate between Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, and Real Madrid’s Vinícius Jr.

Lamine and Vinícius, of course, are currently considered two of the star wingers in not only Spain, but all of world football.

The former is widely considered to be the standout young talent in the game, already an undisputed starter in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona frontline.

As for Real talisman Vinícius, the Brazilian is fresh off a year which saw him only narrowly pipped to the Ballon d’Or by Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

During a club quiz this week, the names of both players were, in turn, put to a number of Villarreal stars.

And, asked to choose between the pair, the result was about as one-sided as it gets.

As per Diario Sport, in a group featuring the likes of Ayoze Pérez and Yeremy Pino, each and every Villarreal player opted for Lamine over Vinícius.
