Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. moved to make clear his appreciation for the latest endeavours of attacking partner-in-crime Kylian Mbappé late this week.

This comes after Mbappé found the net again in Real’s Copa del Rey meeting with Celta Vigo.

En route to an eventual 5-2 extra-time triumph for Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, the Frenchman opened the scoring early on courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance.

Goal aside, though, Mbappé was hailed for the level of his overall performance, amid a vastly improved recent spell of individual form.

And, as alluded to above, eager to make clear that such exploits have not gone overlooked on his part was Vinícius Jr.

Taking to his official Instagram account in the aftermath of Thursday’s victory for Los Blancos, wide-man Vinícius unveiled a photo of he and Mbappé celebrating together, accompanied by the caption:
