Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been the early pace-setter in the Premier League scoring charts, but the Norwegian has someone on his tail.
Liverpool welcomed Bournemouth to Anfield on Saturday and it was an even game, until two goals in two minutes from Luis Díaz put the hosts firmly in charge.
The Colombian showed good composure to round goalkeeper Kepa to score his first of the afternoon, before adding a second after some good work from Trent Alexander-Arnold moments later.
That means Díaz now has five goals in five Premier League matches this season, with only Haaland bettering that tally in the league.
Darwin Núñez’s goal to make it 3-0 wasn’t half bad either.
