Werder Bremen and other Bundesliga sides interested in Anderlecht defender | OneFootball

Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Werder Bremen and a handful of other unnamed Bundesliga clubs are interested in signing Anderlecht defender Killian Sardella. The defender really broke into the first team last season and had a fantastic campaign at right-back as Anderlecht challenged for the Belgian Pro League title. Anderlecht ended up finishing third behind Club Brugge and city rivals Union St Gilloise.

Anderlecht have already lost one young defender in Zeno Debast to Sporting CP and will be hopeful they can keep Sardella. The 22-year-old played 36 times in all competitions for the side, scoring one goal and grabbing six assists. He also made our team of the season as the best right-back in the Pro League last year.

Sardella is under contract at Anderlecht until 2025, so if they feel that a new deal cannot be found they may be willing to sell him to one of the interested Bundesliga sides. Transfermarkt value the young defender at €5m.
