West Ham are ready to sell Pedro Obiang to Fiorentina this month.

According to Sky Italia, a fee of £10m (€11.2m) will be enough to see the midfielder head back to Serie A as long as the Hammers find a replacement.

Obiang has appeared in 14 Premier League games this season, starting nine, but is behind teenager Declan Rice in the midfield pecking order.

Rice started alongside Mark Noble and scored on Saturday as West Ham beat Arsenal at the London Stadium.

Now, Obiang will be allowed to leave this month as long as the club can replace him.

Fellow midfielder Carlos Sánchez is out for the rest of the season so the club would be light in midfield if they let Obiang go without making a signing.

Jack Wilshere, who joined for free last summer, has also struggled with an ankle problem. The 27-year-old has made just one appearance since September and remains at least two weeks away from a return.

West Ham have been linked with Besiktas midfielder Gary Medel, who spent the 2013/14 season in the Premier League with Cardiff before moving to Inter.
