In a recent report, The Daily Mirror stated that West Ham United are keeping a keen eye on Nice midfielder Pablo Rosario. It has been mentioned that the Hammers are eyeing a move to land the Dutch talent in this January transfer window.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a solid campaign at the French club after putting in a string of dominant displays at the heart of their midfield. Rosario has featured in 17 matches for Nice this season but has failed to score or register an assist for them so far across multiple competitions.
The Amsterdam-born sensation has anchored the midfield well by averaging 1.1 tackles, 0.7 interceptions and 0.9 clearances per game in Ligue 1. He has even distributed possession accurately from midfield based on his pass completion rate of 90.7% in the French first division (stats via whoscored).
Rosario is under contract at Nice until the summer of 2026. Thus, West Ham will have to launch a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting him this winter or at the end of this season.

Rosario loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his side at the centre of the park. He can sense the danger quickly and can make life tough for the opposition inside his half. The Dutch sensation doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive.
We can expect Rosario to bring more bite and steel to West Ham head coach David Moyes’ midfield department. He has what it takes to help the Hammers clinch a European spot in the Premier League this season.
Therefore, Moyes should focus on trying everything they can to lure Rosario to the London Stadium before the end of this winter transfer period. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in English football.
