Hammers looking to put run together in Premier League
West Ham host Brighton in the Premier League later today.
The Hammers took a late lead before being pegged back by Bournemouth in Monday night’s 1-1 draw.
Manager Julen Lopetegui then returned to Spain to attend the funeral of his father but is expected to be in the dugout on Saturday.
West Ham sit 14th in the Premier League table after a frustrating season thus far but host a Seagulls side who have hit something of a sticky patch of late.
While one of the surprise packages of the season, they are without a win in four games and last weekend lost 3-1 to rivals Crystal Palace.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game.
West Ham vs Brighton is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off time today on Saturday 21 December 2024.
The London Stadium will host.
TV channel and live stream: The game will not be broadcast in the UK as it takes place behind the 3pm blackout imposed across English football on Saturdays.
Free highlights: Highlights, however, will be available when BBC One broadcast Match of the Day at 10.30pm GMT on Saturday.
West Ham striker Michail Antonio underwent surgery on a lower limb fracture suffered in a road traffic accident earlier this month and his return date remains unclear.
Jean-Clair Todibo’s groin injury could him rule out here too, while Carlos Soler is suspended having picked up five yellow cards for the season. Emerson Palmieri, however, is free from his one-match ban.

Joel Veltman and Matt O’Riley are back in contention for the victors, though Danny Welbeck is a doubt. Adam Webster is back in training but Saturday’s game may come too soon.
Solly March, Jack Hinshelwood, Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner are expected to miss out.
So little about West Ham has convinced this season that it’s difficult to look past Brighton even with their own poor run in mind.
