Several sources in Italy claim Chelsea defender Renato Veiga will undergo medical tests with Juventus today or tomorrow before completing a loan move to the Allianz Stadium.

Chelsea defender Veiga is on the verge of joining Juventus on loan until the end of the season.

Tuttosport and Ilbianconero.com expect the versatile Portuguese defender to land in Turin today and undergo medical examinations today or tomorrow, Saturday, January 25.

Italian media haven’t yet confirmed the time of Veiga’s landing in Turin.

The 21-year-old has made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He is expected to join Juventus on a paid €5m loan.

Veiga will become Juventus’ third January signing after Alberto Costa from Vitoria Guimaraes and Randal Kolo Muani from PSG.

Alberto Costa joined the Old Lady on a permanent €13m transfer, while Kolo Muani has completed a loan move until the end of the season.
