EASTERN – Seven in a row for Royston

Premier – Royston Town overcame Needham Market 8-1 to make it seven wins from seven, Luton Town edged Enfield Town 1-0, St Albans City went third with a 3-0 result against Haringey Borough watched by a crowd of 153. Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers won by the same scoreline at Cambridge City, Stevenage drew 2-2 with Wroxham in front of 110 fans, Watford Ladies Development finished one apiece against Bowers & Pitsea.

1 North – Harpenden Town went six points clear at the top with a fine 4-1 win at Histon. Newmarket Town beat second-placed AFC Dunstable 2-1, Whittlesey Athletic held on to beat Stevenage Devs 3-2 helped by Emily Johnson’s double, while Real Bedford Res leapfrogged Wootton Blue Cross after beating them 6-0 away.

1 South – The top two drew as Southend United were held 1-1 by Hertford Town, allowing Colney Heath to go second with a Samaira Khan brace at Chelmsford City. Hutton sank hosts Romford Town Flyers 7-0 aided by Daisy Canny’s treble, Stanway Pegasus just got the better of Wormley Rovers two goals to one.

League Cup 1st Rd – Biggleswade United went through 2-0 at Frontiers, Thetford Town kmocked out Toby Ladies 3-1, while Lawford had a walkover against Cheshunt.

EAST MIDLANDS – Ilkeston profit from penalties

League Cup 1st Rd – Ilkeston Town progressed past Wellingborough Town 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 deadlock, Loughborough Foxes Vixens edged a seven-goal thriller with Newport Pagnell Town. New Bradwell St Peter substitute Emily Hale got the decider in a 2-1 win over Mansfield Town, Northampton Town Devs’ Madison Evans was sent off late on in the 2-0 home exit to River City, Grimsby Town ran out 8-1 winners over Belper Town with Bethany Wharton’s late 16-minute four-goal haul the icing on the cake, Stamford’s 5-2 defeat of Long Eaton United featured a Laura Dodwell hat-trick. Other result were; Arnold Eagles 3-0 Buxton, Asfordby Amateurs 3-0 Sherwood, Brookside Athletic 0-2 Chesterfield Ladies, Cardea 2-4 West Bridgford, Dronfield Town 2-8 Rotherham United, Grimsby Borough 1-4 Thrapston Town, Leicester City LFC 4-1 SJR Worksop, Nottingham Trent University 0-4 Sheffield FC, Sleaford Town 2-5 Basford United, Chesterfield FC 1-2 Bugbrooke St.Michael, Notts County Devs 1-4 Anstey Nomads, Dunton & Broughton United H/W Beaumont Park, Gainsborough Trinity H/W Long Buckby.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Winner scores six but ends on the losing side

Premier – Saltdean United hit Ashford United for six to keep up the pressure on leaders Dorking Wanderers, 4-2 winners over Barking. Fulham’s fourth straight win came 2-1 at Sport London E Benfica. Millwall Lionesses had to settle for a 2-2 tie with Sutton United whose Amelia Cutler scored in the 90th minute, Ebbsfleet United won 5-2 at Haywards Heath Town.

1 North – It was a sixth defeat on the spin for AFC Whyteleafe, even though Leen Winner Ekwo notched a double hat-trick for the hosts, as Denham United won 9-6 helped by Jenny Nagle’s four goals. Dulwich Hamlet Res missed the chance to go top when beaten 2-1 at home by Richmond & Kew, whose substitute Florence Bent got on the scoresheet. Leatherhead edged Hackney 2-1 to go second and level on points with leaders Brentford, while Clapton CFC won 5-1 at Richmond Park.

1 South – Saltdean United Devs 2-1 result at Herne Bay gave them an eighth win in a row and put them a massive 14 points ahead of the rest. Bognor Regis Town banked the points 5-2 at Montpelier Villa, Soccer Elite Academy beat Three Bridges 3-0, Aylesford defeated Bexhill United by the same score, while Steyning Town went one better against Hastings United.

NORTH EAST – Chester le Street edge title rivals

Premier –  Chester le Street Town went clear at the top with an Eve Jones goal at title rivals Ponteland United, aided by Bradford City holding South Shields to a 3-3 draw. Sunderland West End sub Emily Howe struck for a 3-2 win at York Railway Institute, Wallsend BC beat Hull United 3-1 and Spennymoor Town scored all six goals at Harrogate Town.

1 North – Norton & Stockton Ancients Ressies’ Grace Campbell got both their goals to see off Washington 2-1 and record a fifth win in a row. Thornaby’s Sophie Curle struck three times for a 4-2 result at Consett, Rachel Hepple’s double helped Wallsend BC Res to beat i2i International Soccer Academy 3-2, Chester le Street United won 4-2 at Redcar Town with two each for Tanisha Peake and Lily West. Chester le Street Amazons banged in six at Bishop Auckland, Hartlepool United were 5-2 winners over Gateshead.

1 South – Leeds Modernians made it five wins on the trot with six goals against 6-0 Sheffield Wednesday as Sadyha Akhtar scored three times, Ossett United beat Brunsmeer Athletic 4-1 for fourth successive victory. Handsworth’s Abby Watkinson had a four-goal haul in the 7-5 win at Lower Hopton, York City Devs defeated Kiveton Park as Olivia Sellars came off the bench to score, Sheffield United Foundation also won by the only goal against Altofts.

NORTH WEST – Wythenshawe’s second-half sub Abdullahl scores five

Premier – Wythenshawe stormed to a 16-0 beating of Bury, with Bethany Tattersall’s first-half treble eclipsed by half-time sub Feiruz Abdullahl’s five goals. Darwen defeated FC United of Manchester 4-1 to stay within a point of the leaders with six wins from six, Curzon Ashton losing ground after being held 1-1 at home by Salford City. West Didsbury & Chorlton sub Evie Davies netted in a 2-1 win at Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere Rovers shared four goals with visitors Fleetwood Town Wrens.

1 North – Bolton Wanderers netted nine past Hindley for a seventh straight win, Jessica Lightfoot scoting four in front of a 250-strong turn out. Accrington Stanley have six in a row after beating Morecambe 8-0, with three by Melissa Adamson. Radcliffe won by the odd goal in five at Blackpool after a couple from Sophie Coates, Ruby Farrell got both goals as Fleetwood Town Wrens Res saw off Atherton Laburnum Rovers, Workington Town won 2-1 against Haslingden with Tiegan Hargrave’s decider, Preston North End beat Penrith 3-1.

1 South – Poulton Vics have won all eight games to date after a 3-1 victory at Chester. Runcorn Linnets’ substitute Molly Hewitt was at the double in a 4-2 defeat of Wirral Phoenix, FC St. Helens had a similar result in their favour at Ellesmere Port Town. Wigan Athletic won by a single goal against Macclesfield FC, Mossley Hill Athletic’s Ceri Ogdon netted two of their three at Warrington Town, while MSB Woolton defeated Litherland REMYCA 5-1.

SOUTHERN – Portchester fightback to win at Reading

Premier – Leaders Ascot United beat Oxford City 4-1 to step three points ahead of them, Woodley United went second with a 3-0 result at Selsey, AFC Portchester came from behind to win 4-1 at Reading. Wycombe Wanderers won 5-0 over Badshot Lea, Winchester City Flyers 3-0 winners against Sholing.

1 North – Penn & Tylers Green ended up 5-1 victors over Tilehurst Panthers, whose goalscorer Lydia Vettese was sent off on 50 minutes. Ascot United Res posted the same score at Chesham United Devs, Kidlington and Wycombe Wanderers U-23s got three goals each, Beaconsfield Town scored six all their own at Caversham United and Milton United beat Slough Town 3-0.

1 South – Wimborne Town went top with a 4-0 win at QK Southampton, who had Abigail Priest dismissed. Fleet Town were 7-3 winners at AFC Stoneham to push them down to third. Bursledon subs Sophie Moore and Paris Payne were on target during a 3-1 victory at AFC Varsity, Woking lost 2-0 at home to Havant Waterlooville.

SOUTH WEST LEAGUE – Five-goal Bitton beat leaders

Premier – Torquay United knocked a dozen in against AFC St Austell to go second, Marine Academy Plymouth are third following a 5-0 win at Frampton Rangers. Pucklechurch Sports drew 2-2 with Sherborne Town,  Ilminster Town overcame Bishops Lydeard 5-2 and Lucy Atkinson scored four of AEK Boco seven that they put past Poole Town.

1 North – Bitton decisively took pole position from St Vallier when beating them 5-0 away, Gloucester City got a third win in three, 2-1 over Cirencester Town. Bath City beat Corsham Town 4-2, SGS Olveston United posted a 5-3 result at home to Downend Flyers, while Paulton Rovers drew 1-1 with Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

1 South – Weymouth’s Emily Screen got three goals as they beat Bideford 4-1, but Saltash and Plympton threaten the leaders with perfect records; United hitting six at Honiton Town and Plympton putting four away against Feniton. Yeovil Town’s Becky Miles scored their crucial second goal in a 2-1 win over Weston super Mare.

WEST MIDLANDS – Ten-player Kidderminster defeat leaders

Premier – Kidderminster Harriers took down leaders Coundon Court 2-0 despite a red card for Amber Lawrence, allowing Shifnal Town to takeover at the top albeit with a narrow 4-3 result over Knowle. Leek Town edged Alvechurch 3-2 with Jasmine Smith’s decider, Burton Albion beat Coventry Sphinx 3-1 and Shrewsbury Town won 2-1 against Port Vale watched by a crowd of 120.

1 North – Eccleshall went level on points with leaders Walsall Wood, as Kiera Willdigg got their winner at 2-1 away at Walsall FC. Lichfield City’s Courtney Dilger got all their goals in a 3-1 result at Tamworth, AFC Telford United found the net five times at Newcastle Town, Hednesford Town doubling that tally at home to Leek Town Res.

1 South – Crusaders’ six against Leamington Lions featured four by Danielle Selmes, Redditch Borough also scored six at Solihull Moors Foundation Res, Halesowen Town likewise home to Hereford Pegasus who replied twice. Redditch United’s Humera Ashfaq bagged a brace in a 2-2 draw with Droitwich Spa.
