Aston Villa will face off against Manchester United at Old Trafford this Sunday as they try to collect all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Villans secured a solid 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Unai Emery will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and could keep changes to a minimum for this clash. Hence, we can expect Ollie Watkins to lead the line for the West Midlands outfit up top.
Emiliano Martinez will feature in between the sticks for Aston Villa after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Ezri Konsa will continue to play alongside Pau Torres at the heart of Emery’s defence as they focus on keeping things tidy on the defensive third of the field.
Matty Cash will fill in as the right-back while Ian Maatsen hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Lucas Digne and Tyrone Mings will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara will function as the holding midfielders as they try to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of John McGinn, Marco Asensio and Morgan Rogers will play just ahead of them as part of Aston Villa’s attack. Both McGinn and Rogers need to work hard on getting in behind the Man United backline at every chance they get.
Ross Barkley and Leon Bailey will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second half if required.
Ollie Watkins will spearhead Emery’s attack up top. He failed to score against Tottenham, so this game would be a good chance for him to finish the season on a high.
Donyell Malen will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he awaits his opportunity to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
