Our Women's Under-17 team finished the Interregional Phase in the best possible way. The young Rossonere ended the second stage of the Championship with a great performance in the derby against Inter, the reigning champions. 2-0 at the PUMA House of Football, which sealed second place in the group as the team finished behind a near perfect Juventus side (13 wins and one draw).

Coach Treccani's Rossonere were only defeated by the Bianconere, as they nearly produced a perfect set of results in the other matches. 61 goals scored (the best record in Group A) and 13 conceded for a team that were able to repeat the success of the first derby of the season (5-1 in March) and finish the second phase with six consecutive wins, proving a sign of their progress shown over a course of months.

Coach Treccani stated: "The season began with a mixed group in the league, which was still useful to see the girls in action. The Interregional Phase began in February, a mini league made up of 14 matches, considered by all to be the most demanding and formative format at the same time. It's been a very positive journey, and the second place allows us to come into the National Phase with enthusiasm and ambition".

He added: "Starting from August, there's been a constant development in the performances and attitude, be it during the week when we work or during the matches. For the Interregional Phase, we will have the 2008-born players available, who will remain with us until the end of the season: I'm sure that they will give an added value for our campaign". Now it's time to compete for the title, potentially emulating the team from the 2021/22 season: let's go, girls!
