Nico Paz has already outgrown Como.

Despite joining the club less than a year ago from Real Madrid, he’s ready to take his promising career to the next step.

However, where he could go remains debatable.

Indeed, a return to the Santiago Bernabeu is a distinct possibility, with Los Merengues holding a buyback clause.

Meanwhile, Inter won’t give up as Simone Inzaghi looks to add to his attacking options at the end of the season.

Beating Real Madrid to the punch won’t be easy, but the Nerazzurri will not back down.

“While Real Madrid holds a buy-back option for Nico Paz, Como is determined to keep him for Fabregas,” Pedulla wrote.

“But what truly matters is that they outmaneuvered the competition.

“They secured a player who has already proven crucial in ensuring a comfortable survival in Serie A.

“And let’s not forget Inter, which might eventually want to cash in on the deal.”

Como signed Paz for a mere €6 million last summer.

Yet, they could ship the Argentine starlet back to Madrid for only €9m should Los Merengues opt for a buyback clause.

However, there’s another avenue.

With Como realizing Paz’s potential, they could look to cash in on him if a return to Spain falls flat.

In that case, interested clubs would likely need to splash out around €20m to sign the sought-after youngster.
