Anger rises as Milan price fans out of Juventus clash: “Out of logic” | OneFootball

AC Milan’s pricing structure has been heavily criticised this season, and it seems the management have not received the message after announcing their prices for the Juventus fixture.

Before the clash against Liverpool in the Champions League, several reports highlighted the fact that tickets were on sale until the day of the match due to the extortionate ticket prices, and the theme has repeated itself with the Juventus game next month.

On the Rossoneri’s website, tickets are listed between €99 and €480 – which is another increase on top of the Liverpool game. Even at the lowest prices, it will cost a family at least €400 to visit San Siro, which will be massively off-putting for some.

As Pietro Mazzarra wrote in his piece for Milan News, the cost to go to San Siro is a ‘repeating issue’, and the prices are ‘out of logic’. Whilst the prices remain lower than Inter’s, there is a need to look at ‘our own house’ because backlash is rising.

Ultimately, the current pricing strategy will only push new supporters away from taking in the sights of San Siro, and deny countless locals the experience of a Diavolo home matchday. A worrying trend that needs reversing, but a sign of the club’s focus.
