AC Milan fans will be interested to see Daniel Maldini’s recent progression this weekend, but a report has suggested the Rossoneri will have to wait.
Since leaving in the summer, the attacking midfielder has been one of the most intriguing talents in the division, and when he was recently called up for the Italian National Team, there was no shock. For this reason, clubs have been watching him closely.
There have already been suggestions that Milan are interested, and given the club have a favourable set of clauses, a return home could be on the cards at some point in the future. Elsewhere, Atalanta have emerged as an interested party, however, the most shocking point of interest has to be Inter.
It is likely that the Rossoneri may have taken the chance to evaluate his progress this weekend, but it seems their chance to do so will be limited, with the youngster suffering from a shoulder problem. For this reason, ANSA (via Milan News) report that he will only feature from the bench.
Alessandro Nesta stated that the midfielder was still being monitored ahead of the game, but it seems that he will be unable to make an impact from the first minute.
