North London’s treatment rooms are pretty stacked right now. Tottenham’s troubles with injured players have been well-documented this season, while Arsenal are not far behind.

Mikel Arteta’s side’s title hopes have been dealt a blow after Kai Havertz was ruled out for the remainder of the season. On the club’s warm weather training camp in Dubai, the German sustained a torn hamstring that is likely to lead to surgery. Havertz joins an extensive collection of North London-affiliated footballers on the sidelines right now.

We’ve put together our Arsenal and Tottenham Injured XI.

Goalkeeper: Guglielmo Vicario – Tottenham

Guglielmo Vicario has been sidelined for Spurs since fracturing his ankle against Manchester City in November. To his credit, the Italian completed the 4-0 win at the Etihad but has not been seen since. Spurs signed Antonin Kinsky in January to ease their goalkeeping issues.

Right-back: Ben White – Arsenal

Ben White has not featured for Arsenal since undergoing surgery on a knee injury back in November. The defender went under the knife to correct a persistent problem and was sidelined across the festive period. In encouraging news for the Gunners, White linked up with the squad for the training camp in Dubai.

Centre-bac: Cristian Romero – Tottenham

Spurs paid the price for rushing Cristian Romero back from injury in December. After a month out with a hamstring issue and damaged toe ligaments, he returned against Chelsea but saw his body fail him once more. The influential Argentine lasted just 15 minutes before being withdrawn with a thigh issue. He’s yet to return.

Centre-back: Micky van de Ven – Tottenham

Like Romero, Van de Ven was brought back prematurely for the crunch clash with Chelsea. The Dutch defender has suffered from hamstring issues since signing for Spurs and sustained another late on in the 4-3 defeat to the Blues in December. Despite making a brief appearance against Elfsborg on January 30 but has sat out the last three games.

Left-back: Destiny Udogie – Tottenham

Destiny Udogie joined the growing list of sidelined Spurs players when he picked up a hamstring injury against Wolves in December. The initial prognosis was an absence of six to 10 weeks for the Italian.

Midfield: James Maddison – Tottenham

James Maddison has been out for around three weeks with a calf strain. In positive news, however, the England midfielder is pushing to return to first-team training this week. He could replenish Ange Postecoglou’s threadbare options against Manchester United this weekend.

Midfield: Kai Havertz – Arsenal

Arsenal’s title hopes have suffered a blow with the news that Kai Havertz will not play again this season. The Germany international has torn his hamstring and is likely to undergo an operation. His absence leaves Arsenal without a centre-forward, having failed with a bid to sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa last month.

Right-wing: Bukayo Saka – Arsenal

Bukayo Saka underwent hamstring surgery in December and has not yet returned, though did take part in the club’s training camp in Dubai. There is optimism he could return next month, with Arsenal having missed the winger in recent weeks. Despite being sidelined for two months, Saka still sits joint-second for Premier League assists (10).

Left-wing: Gabriel Martinelli – Arsenal

Mikel Arteta’s absent personnel increased when Gabriel Martinelli injured his hamstring in the defeat at Newcastle. Following a scan, it was determined the Brazilian is facing more than a month out.

Forward: Gabriel Jesus – Arsenal

Gabriel Jesus’s season is over after sustaining an ACL injury. It was a cruel blow to the Brazilian, who has regained his place in the side and found form. With Havertz also out, Arsenal lack a player to lead the line.

Forward: Dominic Solanke – Tottenham

Dominic Solanke is forecasted to be out for another six weeks with the knee injury he suffered last month. The £65m club-record recruit has impressed in his debut campaign at Spurs, with 11 goals in all competitions. Spurs brought in Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich in the winter window to add depth to their forward line.

Substitutes: Takehiro Tomiyasu (Arsenal), Radu Dragusin (Tottenham), Wilson Odobert (Tottenham), Brennan Johnson (Tottenham), Timo Werner (Tottenham), Richarlison (Tottenham).
