Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán as they aim to bolster their attack with a long-term perspective.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG remain keen on the Colombian forward but face a stumbling block in Aston Villa’s £80 million valuation. The high price tag reflects Durán’s impressive performance and his recent contract extension.
Aston Villa seem determined to keep Durán unless an exceptional bid comes through. PSG, however, have set their valuation closer to £55 million, leaving a notable gap in negotiations. Meanwhile, other clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation.
Jacobs also reported that Aston Villa recently rejected a £57 million offer from West Ham, marking the Premier League side’s second bid during this window. Villa are believed to be holding out for offers in the region of £85 million (€100 million).

Recently, Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato reported that Real Madrid have also expressed interest in the Colombian forward and could join the race. Despite attention from European powerhouses like PSG and Real Madrid, Durán is reportedly considering the possibility of a move to Al-Nassr.
However, Al-Nassr could be pulling out of this saga for Durán as they eye another No. 9. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Al-Nassr have officially initiated discussions to sign Victor Boniface as their new striker.
Negotiations are ongoing with Bayer Leverkusen for the Nigerian forward, who is being targeted as a replacement for Talisca. Another option under consideration is Durán, but Aston Villa remain determined to retain him at the club.
