Manchester City have had to deal with an unusual amount of injuries so far this season. It seems that not a week goes by before a fresh injury concern arrives for Pep Guardiola’s side. The first player to go down with injury was Oscar Bobb. The young winger went down with a fractured leg right on the eve of the 24/25 season. His last game for City was their FA Community Shield win over Manchester United.
It has been a long road back to full fitness for the Norwegian international. But finally, there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel for Bobb. The young winger has been pictured training in images shared on the official Manchester City X account. That is welcome news for Bobb and Pep Guardiola’s side.
Bobb’s return to training finally sees him on the comeback trail from the fractured leg he sustained. He had appeared set for a breakout season based on his form over the pre-season. But injury put a halt to Bobb’s season and now he is finally on his way back. Although he will need time to get back to his best the fact that he is training means that he can start building up his fitness and touch over the coming weeks.
Manchester City’s upcoming FA Cup third-round tie against Salford City will likely come to soon for Bobb to return to the City squad. But he is finally on his way back and that is a massive boost to the world champions for the second half of the season.
