Barcelona sporting director Deco has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain made an approach for teenage sensation Lamine Yamal last summer, following the winger’s explosive emergence for the Catalan club. Speaking during a press conference on Thursday outlining Barça’s summer transfer strategy, Deco admitted that PSG “asked questions” about Yamal—though no formal bid was submitted.

The comments reinforce earlier reports from Catalonia that PSG had expressed interest in the Spain international.
