After having added only Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor in the last summer transfer window and making no new signings in the winter either, FC Barcelona are expected to bring some reinforcements for Hansi Flick before the start of the next season.

In this regard, the Blaugranes are expected to bring some players to reinforce their attack, with the likes of Rafael Leão, Luis Díaz, and Alexander Isak all being linked with the Catalan club.

However, according to Fichajes, Premier League powerhouse Manchester City is planning a significant squad overhaul in the upcoming summer transfer window amidst a disappointing ongoing campaign, with two of their players attracting interest from Barcelona.

One of these players is the midfielder Bernardo Silva, whom the Catalans have already tried to sign for some years. He still remains a highly attractive option for the Blaugranes as he can fit perfectly in Hansi Flick’s schemes that rely a lot on possession and positional play.

Similarly, another player who is of interest to Barcelona is Jérémy Doku, the Belgian winger who has already demonstrated his ability to make a difference for his team with his speed and dribbling abilities on the left wing.

His arrival will provide Flick with a good option to compete and rotate Raphinha, and his overall profile also fits well with the requirements of the Blaugrana team.

Manchester City have been playing far from their best level this season, and are currently sitting 5th in the Premier League table. They have also been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, as Real Madrid overcame them in the playoff round after they were unable to get a direct qualification to the Round of 16.

Thus, it would be not too unlikely for the Citizens to make large-scale changes in their team for the next season, but it remains to be seen whether Barcelona will have the financial resources to incorporate these two players in their squad.
