FC Barcelona are on the cusp of completing a domestic treble in Hansi Flick’s debut season in charge of the team.
With the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup already in the bag, the Catalans could clinch the La Liga title later tonight when they face rivals RCD Espanyol in the derby.
While the focus will be on securing the title-clinching victory, Barça will also be keeping a close eye on the performance of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper is seen as one of the potential targets by the Blaugrana in case they decide to make some tweaks to their goalkeeping department in the summer.
However, according to COPE, Barcelona’s arch-rivals Real Madrid have also shown an interest in signing Joan Garcia in the summer.

However, Andriy Lunin could be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu in search of regular minutes, which could prompt Florentino Perez & co. to secure a replacement.
And, as per the report, those at Real Madrid see Joan Garcia as the ideal target in their bid to replace Lunin if he departs in the summer.
As has already been reported, the Espanyol star has a release clause worth €25 million in his contract, which could rise to €30 million based on certain conditions.
The 24-year-old has been a top performer for the Parakeets this season. But their financial situation makes it a necessity for them to complete a high-profile seal before June 30, meaning Garcia’s departure is very much likely.
It now remains to be seen whether Barcelona or Real Madrid make a move for the Spaniard or if the goalkeeper ends up at a different club altogether.
