Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 win over Stade Brestois in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off on Tuesday night at Stade de Roudourou, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring twice.
Unless Brest pulls off a major comeback, PSG will face either Barcelona or Liverpool in the Round of 16. This dominant performance highlights the strong form of Luis Enrique’s squad in recent matches.
In their last four games, PSG has outscored opponents 14-3, securing wins over RB Salzburg, Manchester City, VfB Stuttgart, and now Brest.
As a result, Liverpool will need to make sure they have a healthy squad heading into the possible clash against PSG.

With a potential tie against the Parisians looming, Barcelona could be getting a key defender back. Ronald Araujo returned to training with Barcelona on Saturday as Hansi Flick wraps up preparations for Monday’s match against Rayo Vallecano.
Mundo Deportivo reports (h/t Barca Blaugranes) that he’s “not yet 100% fit” and that Barcelona doesn’t want to take any risks with the Uruguay international.
The defender has missed Barcelona’s last two sessions due to a bruised ankle he suffered against Sevilla, but he did participate in the session at Ciutat Esportiva.
