Barcelona hold meeting with agents of Aston Villa star | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona recently sat down for a meeting with the representatives of Aston Villa star Jhon Durán.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, of course, last week secured a long-awaited return to the 1:1 rule, a major boost for all associated with the club.

As much has given rise to immediate speculation surrounding the plans of the Blaugrana on the transfer front, with the addition of fresh blood in the attacking third understood to be something of a priority.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of interest for all associated with Hansi Flick’s side to hear of discussions surrounding a potential future deal for one frontman having already taken place.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Several weeks ago there was a meeting between Barça and the representatives of Jhon Durán, Aston Villa striker.’

As much came with a view to gathering information on both the outlay likely to be required to coax Villa into a deal, and the interest of Colombian international Duran in a potential move to Spain.
