Spanish football’s two biggest clubs were altogether unsurprisingly the most-viewed in La Liga over the course of the 2024/25 campaign.
It was champions Barcelona, though, who could ultimately boast of being the very most watched in the entirety of the Spanish football pyramid.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing a report by Barlovenmto Comunicación, released this weekend.
Barcelona are of course fresh off a season to remember this time out, which saw the Blaugrana, under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, dominate en route to securing champion a domestic treble.
The all-action stylings of the Catalans drew widespread viewership, to the point that, on average, they were watched by over 100,000 more people each week than arch rivals Real Madrid.
The report details that Los Blancos drew an average of 1,468,000, behind leaders Barca on 1,570,000.
Rounding out the podium places were Sevilla, ahead of Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid in 4th.
