A leading member of the transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week continued to make clear his desire to join the Blaugrana.

The player in question? Marcus Rashford.

The name of wide-man Rashford has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after the Englishman’s agent was spotted in a hotel in Barcelona, awaiting a meeting with Blaugrana sporting director Deco.

Barca are understood to have shifted focus towards Rashford amid struggles in finding a deal with Liverpool for priority target Luis Díaz.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word on the situation to have surfaced on Wednesday night is anything to go by, then the Manchester United star is himself fully committed to securing his dream move to the Camp Nou.

As per a report from Barcelona insider Toni Juanmartí of Diario Sport:

‘Marcus has been saying no to everything he’s been offered (from other clubs). He only wants Barça… and I feel like today was an important step. For both parties.’
