Jonathan David is set to be a man in heavy demand next summer as his contract with LOSC Lille is expiring, making him available for a free transfer.
FC Barcelona are keenly monitoring the Canadian striker’s situation as they are interested in securing his services on a Bosman deal.
However, there are a plethora of other clubs who are also keen on the 24-year-old, with teams such as Juventus and Inter Milan also looking at him.
Now, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have also entered the race to sign Jonathan David on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.
The record Bundesliga champions are closely monitoring the Canadian international’s situation and believe he could be an interesting addition to their roster.

The Bavarians’ director, Max Eberl, is believed to be an admirer of the 24-year-old who also happens to be a close friend of fellow Canadian Alphonso Davies.
This development might be a concerning one for Barcelona as Bayern Munich would be in a position to offer the 24-year-old a more lucrative contract.
Davies has been in good form this season, scoring 13 goals and setting up two more from 19 matches for Lille this season and has the potential to be a good signing for the Blaugrana.
However, it must be noted that Barcelona’s pursuit of a new forward might hinge on the future of Robert Lewandowski and how he fares in the rest of the season.
At the same time, the Catalan giants also have other options on their agenda, including Sporting CP’s in-form hitman Viktor Gyokeres.
