Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel performs U-turn and deciedes to move to Tottenham | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel has changed his mind and has decided that he now wishes to join Tottenham on loan.

Tel is already on his way to London for his medical ahead of a move to the North London side. The move is expected to be a straight loan with no option to buy.

Earlier in the window, the 19-year-old had rejected a move to Spurs as he wished to stay at Bayern Munich. Manchester United and Arsenal were both interested in Tel but no agreement could be reached.

Sky also reported earlier today that Tel rejected the chance to join Eintracht Frankfurt on a straight loan as well. Die Adler and Bayern had reached a verbal agreement over a loan for the second half of the season. With people at Bayern in agreement that it would be a great opportunity for Tel to receive game time, but the forward rejected the offer.
