Real Madrid have enjoyed some of the best in history gracing their crest over the decades and have long been the king of Europe.

Aptly named the ‘Galacticos‘ for their style of signing players exploding across the globe, they are true to their name to date and have accommodated many legends.

One of the most prolific players for the club, undoubtedly, is the Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario who is considered one of the greatest players of all time for his goalscoring ability.

Ronaldo’s best and worst teammates

Speaking to Romario in a recent interaction on the latter’s YouTube channel, Ronaldo opened up on the best and worst players he has ever played with.

He began with a positive selection and named one of Los Blancos’ most legendary players as the best he has ever played with.

“The best were Ronaldinho Gaucho, in the national team, and Zidane, at the club level. ‘Zizou’ had a lot of class, he was different, very technical, he made everything simple,” he began saying.

He was then asked about the worst player he has ever played with, and he surprisingly named another Real Madrid star which is shocking considering how the Merengues have no room for mediocre players.

“Thomas Gravesen was a really cool guy. Not long ago he won a $50 million poker tournament or something like that. But in soccer, he was very bad, he scored hard and hit hard. It was a joke,” he said.

The Danish midfielder joined Real Madrid in January 2005 from Everton in a deal worth €3.4 million but survived at the club only until August 2006 when he made his way to Celtic.

He did score one goal for the club and even made 49 appearances for Los Blancos during his time at the club, but Ronaldo’s remark on his ability is startling considering how he did play a decent number of games for the club.
