The speedy defender’s contract with Bayern Munich is nearing its expiration in the summer of 2025, and, as things stand, all signs point to the Santiago Bernabeu as his preferred destination.

Real Madrid long-term admirers of Davies

Real Madrid’s interest in Davies has been an open secret for some time, with the Merengues even exploring a move for him in the summer earlier this year.

While nothing materialised, the Canadian international’s representatives are already engaging in preliminary discussions with the Spanish champions over a free transfer in 2025.

As reported earlier today, though, Manchester United have also expressed interest in securing Davies’ services.

Indeed, the Red Devils have gathered information on the player but are well aware that their prospects of signing him are not particularly high.

Davies wants Madrid

After all, as per the report, Davies’ clear preference for a move to Real Madrid, which he views as a dream transfer and the next big step in his promising career.

It appears that the Bayern Munich full-back is captivated by the prospect of donning the famous white shirt of Real Madrid in the coming season.

While the Bundesliga heavyweights remain open to negotiations for a contract renewal, Davies’ ambitions seem firmly fixed on a move away, particularly to Real Madrid even though Manchester United are sniffing around.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Vincent Kompany’s team this season and is eager to bring an end to his spell in Bavaria on a strong note.
