Here is how Real Madrid can lineup against Osasuna.

GK: Andriy Lunin

The Ukrainian has not had a good start to the season so far. He would have liked to be on the winning end of things but Lunin has been preventing more damage from happening in the games he has started this season. Osasuna are in good form so the youngster may have another difficult match on his hands.

RB: Lucas Vazquez

No other option than to start him yet again. He’s been absolutely shredded to bits in majority of the starts he has had this season. With Bryan Zaragoza on the left wing, it might be another tough night for the Spaniard.

CB: Eder Militao

The Brazilian was tried as a right-back in the training session in the buildup to this match however, it did not yield the expected results. Hence, he will start this game in his natural position. Militao always starts the game well and then implodes later on – something the player would be hoping to change.

CB: Antonio Rüdiger

The German has looked off-colour in the past few games and, like Militao, completely loses focus in the latter half of the match. He is a vital part of this lineup and Ancelotti would hope that Rüdiger is back in form as soon as possible.

LB: Fran García

Hopefully the Spaniard is rewarded with a start for this match. Offensively he has done well to combine with Vinicius up front, even almost recording an assist in the last match. With Mendy being in poor form, it is a great opportunity for Fran to show what he is capable of.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga

With Tchouameni injured for the next month, expect Camavinga to be a regular starter for the next few matches. He has been a breath of fresh air in this side, adding some extra energy to the Real Madrid midfield.

CM: Fede Valverde

As emphasised earlier, when Fede is not looking up to the mark, you know that things are not going well. Even though he had some stiffness in his back against Milan, Ancelotti mentioned that he is good to go.

CM: Jude Bellingham

The Englishman would hope that the burden on his shoulders is lessened and just does the job as a midfielder and does not have to cover up for Vazquez at right back. He’s already very important in this side and hopefully, the youngster can step up with some goals and assists too.

RW: Rodrygo

It was surprising to see the Brazilian not start the recent games but expect him to start this match. Added a bit of life into the game against Milan and would hope to be involved on the attacking front and contribute to Real Madrid’s turnaround.

ST: Kylian Mbappe

After a poor display against Barcelona, it was Mike Maignan who chose to have the game of his life otherwise Mbappe would have found the back of the net at least twice. The fans are still backing him and hopefully he would be able to repay their faith.

LW: Vinicius Junior

For a guy who vowed to do 10x better after the Ballon d’Or loss, Milan’s match was clearly not an example of that. The Brazilian has the ability to turn the game on his head on his own and what better to do it against a resilient Osasuna side.
