Paris Saint-Germain have started turning to Ligue 1’s rising stars to reshape the squad into a younger, more energetic group. Recent signings like Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue from domestic rivals highlight that shift in strategy.

For a long time, the club was criticized for overlooking the league’s top young talent, but that’s changed under sporting advisor Luis Campos. Now, PSG are eyeing another standout from within France.

Andrey Santos, currently on loan from Chelsea, has been one of the breakout players at RC Strasbourg this season. He’s been a key figure in their push for a Champions League spot and is starting to attract serious interest across Europe.

According to Fichajes, PSG and AC Milan are tracking Santos ahead of the summer window. Calciomercato adds that Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Monaco are also in the mix. While Chelsea aren’t actively looking to sell, they’re reportedly open to offers in the region of £35 million.

The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill reports that Chelsea and Strasbourg have agreed to hold off on making a decision about Santos until the end of the season, with the final call likely hinging on which European competitions each club qualifies for.

According to a recent report from TEAMtalk, Bournemouth are seriously interested in Santos and are ready to make a move this summer if he becomes available.

Nottingham Forest, where Santos made just two appearances on loan last season, are still keeping tabs on him. However, a return to the City Ground isn’t appealing to the midfielder, who was left frustrated by the lack of game time.

Interest in Santos is expected to ramp up in the coming months, with several Premier League sides seeing him as a top talent with world-class upside.

The report also notes Chelsea have already fielded inquiries from eight English clubs, with more interest coming in from across Europe. Clubs are eager to understand what a potential deal might involve—especially if Santos isn’t in Chelsea’s plans for regular minutes next season.
