U.S. Men's national team star Christian Pulisic is set to miss out on the Gold Cup this summer, according to Fox Sports.

The AC Milan winger will reportedly not be named in Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the tournament in June.

Pulisic has excelled in Serie A this season, collecting 20 goal contributions in 33 games.

The decision has reportedly been made with his health ahead 2026 FIFA World Cup in mind after consecutive seasons in which he was 'beaten up physically'.

Pulisic’s absence is not the only that will leave a lasting mark on Pochettino's side, as regular starters Gio Reyna, Weston McKennie, and Timothy Weah are all set to miss the tournament through various scheduling conflicts.

The United States have not won the tournament since 2021, yet most notably it will be one of the last chances for Mauricio Pochettino to field his best team in a competitive setting before the 2026 World Cup on home soil.
