FIXTURE HISTORY

Since their first match played on 10 June 1959, before tomorrow's quarter-final, Inter and Lazio have faced off 17 times in the Coppa Italia. The results are almost completely balanced with six wins for the Nerazzurri, five wins for the Biancocelesti and six draws. In the Coppa Italia, the two sides have mostly played each other in the quarter finals. They have played nine matches at this stage of the competition with both teams winning four and drawing only one. Inter are unbeaten in their last five games against Lazio in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and conceding only two.

INTER'S FORM Inter are coming into the quarter-final having beaten Udinese in the Round of 16. In the match played on 19 December, the Nerazzurri won 2-0 at San Siro thanks to goals from Arnautovic and Asllani. Inter have qualified into the next round in each of the last four times that they made it into the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Simone Inzaghi's side are in a great run of form and are now at the top of the Serie A table with 57 points from 26 games, winning 17 and drawing six. The Nerazzurri also have the league's best attacking record with 59 goals scored, equal with Atalanta. They have conceded 24.

THE OPPOSITION: LAZIO Lazio, under Marco Baroni's guide since the start of the season, are coming into the quarter-finals after beating Napoli 3-1 in the Round of 16 thanks to Noslin's incredible hattrick. The Biancocelesti are currently 5th in Serie A on 47 points, 14 wins and five draws. They have scored 47 and conceded 34. They played four matches in February, all of which we were league games, winning two and drawing two. Their two wins came in a 2-1 win victory against Cagliari and in a 5-1 home triumph over Monza. They drew 2-2 at home against Napoli and 0-0 away against Venezia. In Europe, Lazio have made the Round of 16 where they will play Viktoria Plzen. The Biancocelesti normally line up in a 4-2-3-1 with Guendouzi and Rovella as a midfield pair, sat behind an attacking three in Isaksen, Pedro and Zaccagni, with Dia up top. Their top goalscorer is the injured Valentin Castellanos, currently on nine goals. Dia and Zaccagni are second on seven.

LAUTARO AND THE COPPA ITALIA Since his Coppa Italia debut in the 2018/19 season, Lautaro Martínez is the top scorer among all players from Serie A teams in the Round of 16 onwards, on eight goals. He is continuing his top form as the captain of the Nerazzurri. Having scored in our last game against Genoa, he became the first non-Italian player in Inter history to have scored over ten goals in six different Serie A seasons.

INTER V LAZIO STATISTICS Matches against Lazio hold great memories for a range of Nerazzurri players. Hakan Çalhanoglu has scored five against Lazio in all competitions. He has never scored more goals against any single oppostion in his career in Europe's top five leagues. Lazio is also the only team that he has scored against for three different clubs: twice for Inter, twice for AC Milan and once for Bayer Leverkusen. Marcus Thuram has scored three in four against Lazio for Inter in all competitions (two in Serie A, both at the Olimpico, and one in the Italian Super Cup). The only match in which Federico Dimarco has scored and assisted in the same game came in our most recent Serie A meeting with Lazio, last December. Finally, Lazio is the team which Denzel Dumfries has faced most often for Inter. He has played four games against the Biancocelesti, scoring two and assisting two.
