CorSera: Milan’s stars suffer rapid devaluation – trio now worth €100m less

The crisis that AC Milan are going through will have consequences not only on a sporting level, but also on an economic level too.
As Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) report this morning, Milan were not able to obtain the revenues from qualifying for the Champions League round of 16 this season, but what is more worrying is how much they will miss out on in the next campaign.
The squad is in fact losing a lot of value too, especially the most important players. The paper states that Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan and Rafael Leao have suffered a devaluation of around €100m combined.
This is the direct consequence of the continuous defeats that Milan are accumulating because the more you lose, the more your players lose value. It so happens that Theo has gone from being worth €70m to €20-25m, also due to his deal running out in 2026.
Maignan has gone from a valuation of €70m to €35-40m, mainly because of the many errors that he has made and also the fact that his deal runs out in 2026 too, even if there is talk of a renewal.
Leao’s season meanwhile has been less disappointing compared to the French duo, but realistically he is worth €60m, much less than the almost €100m offered by Al-Nassr in the winter window.
