Cristiano Ronaldo sends heartfelt message to Real Madrid | OneFootball

Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has on Thursday sent a message of appreciation the way of the capital giants.

This comes on a special day for Real Madrid as a whole.

For those not aware, Thursday marks the 123rd anniversary of Los Blancos being established as a sporting entity.

The most successful club in the history of European competition officially came into existence on the 6th of March, 1902.

Across the day to date, messages of love and appreciation have in turn come flowing in for Real Madrid from across the world of football.

Serie A heavyweights Napoli, for one, took to social media to post the following:

And as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of the Spanish side’s well-wishers this afternoon was, in the eyes of many, their greatest ever player.

In a post on his official ‘X’ account, Ronaldo unveiled a photo of himself celebrating a Real Madrid triumph in the Champions League, accompanied by the caption:

‘123 years of Real Madrid. Congratulations to the entire Real Madrid family! Hala Madrid!’
