Chelsea could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players with a number of squad members now surplus to requirements.

Garnacho told to find new club

Whilst a striker is the main priority Chelsea are also in the market for a winger and there’s set to be movement in that area.

Chelsea are yet to take a final decision on Jadon Sancho, whilst Noni Madueke is said to be attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

The Blues have been linked with a host of names, including Garnacho who they opted against making a move for in January.

However, David Ornstein has provided an update on Garnacho in the The Athletic and revealed Amorim has told the 20-year-old to find a new club.

Garnacho has scored 11 goals and registered ten assists in 58 appearances in all competitions this season, but it’s clear he’s made his last appearance for the club.

Gittens and Williams Chelsea targets

Chelsea also have Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens as targets in the wide areas, with Enzo Maresca said to want five wingers in the squad next season.

Williams has been described as a “dream” target for the Blues, but the Spain international is said to want £400,000 per week if he makes a move to the Premier League.

Gittens is likely to be more attainable, with the England under-21 international said to be keen on a switch to England.

Chelsea are thought to be in pole position and are believed to be prepared to offer Gittens a deal which would see his current salary doubled.
