Paris Saint-Germain dominated Stade Brestois with a 3-0 win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off on Tuesday night at Stade de Roudourou, with Ousmane Dembélé bagging a brace.
Barring a stunning comeback from Brest, PSG are on track to meet either Barcelona or Liverpool in the Round of 16. Moreover, this performance spotlights the form that Luis Enrique and his team have played in their last couple of matches in the competition.
In their last four matches, the Parisians have outscored their opponents 14-3 and have wins over RB Salzburg, Manchester City, VfB Stuttgart, and now Brest. There are several factors as why PSG have performed well and one of them is the young talent elevating their game.

One young player that has come on in recent months is Désiré Doué. After a slow start to the 2024-25 season, the former Stade Rennais player is becoming a fixture in Luis Enrique’s starting 11.
WhoScored spotlighted the best teenagers with the highest rating in the Champions League and Doué is among some of the best young talents in Europe.
The highest-rated teenagers in the UEFA Champions League this season include Lamine Yamal, who leads the list with a rating of 7.80. Kenan Yıldız follows with a rating of 6.94, while Antoni Milambo is close behind at 6.92. Ethan Nwaneri has earned a rating of 6.78, and Doué rounds out the top five with a rating of 6.77.
Doué will look to continue this impressive form when PSG host Brest in the return leg at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
