The start of pre-season, training camp schedule, friendlies and more – Eintracht’s key dates in July and August at a glance.

Apart from Eintracht’s international players, who are in action between 2 and 10 June, the players and staff then have six weeks off before marking the start of the 2025/26 campaign with performance tests on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 July.

The Eagles’ first official training session of the new season takes place on Wednesday 9 July. The international players are due back in Frankfurt for their performance tests on Sunday 13 and Monday 14 July.

The first friendly of pre-season pits Eintracht against regional league side and city neighbours FSV Frankfurt on Saturday 19 July. The game at the PSD Bank Arena kicks off at 18:00 CEST.

Three days later, Eintracht jet off Stateside for their second training camp in the USA in as many years. The Frankfurt U.S. Tour between Tuesday 22 July and Sunday 3 August includes, among other things, friendlies against hosts Louisville City FC at 19:30 local time on Tuesday 29 July, and against MLS side Philadelphia Union at 17:30 local time on Saturday 2 August.

The dress rehearsal for the new campaign takes place on Saturday 9 August, when the Eagles play another friendly against foreign opposition. The first round of the DFB Cup is being held between 15 and 18 August, while the Bundesliga gets under way between 22 and 24 August.
