The second and final round of voting for your 2024/25 Etihad Women’s Player of the Season is now open.
An initial full-squad vote was launched earlier this week, but the three players selected the most are now battling it out for the top prize.
The winner of the Etihad Women’s Player of the Season will be announced after our final match of the campaign against Crystal Palace on Saturday 10 May.

In a campaign where City have been heavily impacted by injuries to key players, Hasegawa has been a near-constant in the Blues’ engine room.
She’s featured in all but one of our fixtures so far in 2024/25 and has shown a remarkable consistency across the entire campaign.
The Japan international’s anticipation off the ball is often pivotal in breaking up opposition attacks and she's made the most interceptions of any City player across the WSL season to date.
She’s also weighed in at the sharp end, providing three assists from deep to match her best-ever tally in that particular metric across a single campaign.
A player who often goes under the radar for her consistency and energy down the right flank, Casparij has enjoyed another stellar year for City.
Now in her third season at the Club, the Dutch international continues to develop year on year and is now rightly considered one of the WSL’s finest full-backs.
She’s also added goals to her game this season, with three strikes so far making her our highest scoring defender in 2024/25.
Asked to fill in at both left-back and as a winger, Casparij is another consistent performer and has often been a driving force from out wide, getting forward to stretch opposition defences while never shirking her defensive responsibilities.
Given the responsibility of leading the line for a large chunk of the season in the absence of 2023/24 Golden Boot winner Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Fowler has taken on that authority with aplomb.
A versatile and intelligent attacker, the Australian has enjoyed her best season in front of goal for City, with only Shaw and Vivianne Miedema able to better her scoring tally of ten in all competitions.
Fowler is the only member of the squad to hit double figures for goals and assists for the Blues this season, and became the first player in WSL history to register at least two goal involvements in four consecutive matches in February 2025.
She’s also stepped up with some key strikes for City, namely a memorable brace to send us to the League Cup final with a 2-1 win over Arsenal at Meadow Park.
Her season was cut short after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture in our FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United, but she’s already more than backed up her reputation as one of the most exciting young prospects in the WSL.
