Chelsea have added a new goalkeeper name to a list of targets for the next transfer window that comes at the end of this season.
The transfer window closed a couple of weeks back now and it was a very bland and strange one for Chelsea. They only made one signing and he is a player who is just expected to play as a deep backup option this season and then probably go on loan in the summer.
Other than that, Chelsea just loaned a bunch of players out with the only permanent one being Cesare Casadei to Torino in the end.
So we can only assume that they will be looking to do some more bigger deals in terms of arrivals in the summer window at the end of this season.
Our own writer Simon Phillips has an exclusive report on a new goalkeeper that he put out via his Substack site earlier this week.

Phillips reports:
‘Chelsea will look to find a buyer for Robert Sanchez in the summer and if they find one and get an offer that they want, they will replace him.
‘I have reported some of the names on our goalkeeper shortlist for the summer on a couple of occasions in the last few weeks, so I’ll recap those below and also reveal a new name on the shortlist.
‘Some of the consistent names given to us by sources are Gregor Kobel of Dortmund, Caoimhín Kellher of Liverpool, and James Trafford of Burnley.
‘But the latest name we are hearing via SPTC sources is Lucas Chevalier of Lille.
‘Chevalier is 23-years-old, a 6-capped French U21 international, stands at 6ft 2in tall, and has played well over 100 senior league games in his career so far.
‘Chelsea are putting a number of options for new goalkeeper together so there will be other names as always.’
