Chelsea put in a dreadful performance on Friday night as they lost to Brighton, but Jason Cundy has found one positive.
The Blues slumped to a 3-0 loss making it two defeats in less than a week to the Seagulls after being dumped out of the FA Cup last weekend.
Enzo Maresca’s men offered next to nothing going forward and were punished for dreadful defending with Karou Mitoma scoring a brilliant goal and Yankuba Minteh grabbing a brace.
Chelsea are now on a run of two wins in their last nine league matches and will drop out of the top four if results go against them over the weekend.
The Blues looked toothless in attack in the FA Cup defeat last weekend and it was the same on Friday night, with Chelsea managing just one shot on target across the two games.
With both Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu injured, Mykhailo Mudryk currently suspended and Joao Felix allowed to leave for AC Milan the Blues are light in attack.

Noni Madueke came in for Jadon Sancho in the only change in attack, but he went off with a hamstring injury in the first half.
Sancho and Pedro Neto offered very little, whilst Cole Palmer cut a frustrated figure throughout, and Carragher warned he might leave unless Chelsea start competing for major trophies.
Tyrique George came on late in the second half, with the youngster trying to make something happen and Cundy believes he was the only positive from the game.
“Fair play to the boy,” he told Chelsea’s official app.
“It’s a difficult game to come in to off the bench. You’re 3-0 down, go on then try and make a difference. Even though the scoreline isn’t going to change, he has.”

George has become a permanent member of the first team squad this season, with Romeo Lavia naming him as one of the youngsters fans should be excited about.
The 19-year-old could be in line for more opportunities given the lack of options following the injury to Madueke and all he can do is take his chances.
