Feyenoord star Igor Paixao’s agent on Napoli interest: “It’s a big club” | OneFootball

The agent of Feyenoord star Igor Paixao has spoken about interest from Napoli, signaling that the player would be interested in a move to the Serie A giants.

Paixao has now impressed against Serie A sides, putting in a dominating performance against Milan in the Champions League. This led to reports linking him with moves to Roma and Napoli.

His agent Edson Toninello spoke to Gonfia la Rete about his future and revealed that while no contact has been made, the Partenopei would be an interesting club that would be of intrigue to the winger.

He said: “So far I have not received any contact from Napoli.”

Speaking further, he said: “Of course, it’s a big club, it’s going through a great moment and it has a lot of history.”

When asked specifically about the player’s future at Feyenoord, the agent said: “Igor is very happy in Rotterdam. Feyenoord is a big club and he has adapted very well, but of course every big offer will be analyzed.”

When asked about the player’s valuation, he said: “It depends on Feyenoord. He is a player who has increased his value in recent seasons.”

The Brazilian has scored two goals in the Champions League and racked up four assists. In the Eredivisie, he has six goals and nine assists to his name.
