Manchester United stars Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Noussair Mazraoui have already withdrawn from their respective squads for the upcoming international games.

Amad Diallo has joined the United trio in skipping the October’s international fixtures.

Man United confirmed that Diallo is ruled out due to illness.

Ivory Coast are scheduled to face Sierra Leone (home and away double header) but Diallo won’t be part of these two games.

While Diallo has been a regular in United’s starting XI this season, he has struggled to deliver consistent performances.

He has bagged just one goal and one assist in ten games across all competitions.

His inability to capitalise on opportunities has led to frustration for both fans and manager Erik ten Hag, who has placed faith in his young talents.

The United head coach will be hoping that Diallo can recover in time and regain fitness for the next club game.

The Red Devils are next in action against Brentford in the Premier League on October 19.

Garnacho is recovering from a knee injury. If he is not fit for the Brentford clash, Diallo would be expected to occupy the right-wing spot.

Many United supporters wanted Ten Hag to give Diallo a fair opportunity to prove his worth this season.

The youngster won the hearts of United fans after his injury-time goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup last term.

He shined in his loan spell with Sunderland, netting an impressive 14 goals and providing four assists.

His contributions were pivotal in propelling the Black Cats to the Championship play-off semi-final.

United fans will hope that Diallo can improve his form and become a more dynamic force in the final third.
