Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona as he grows frustrated with life under Erik ten Hag.

United have endured a difficult start to the season, winning just two of their opening seven Premier League matches of the 2024/25 season.

At the moment, the Red Devils are in 14th position in the table with just eight points to their name.

Ten Hag is under massive pressure and it’s believed that his position will be assessed by club chiefs during the ongoing October international break.

According to reports from Spain, Garnacho is among a number of United players who are “dissatisfied” with the situation at Old Trafford and are considering a new environment.

It’s understood that the Argentine is “fed up” with Ten Hag and has already “offered himself” to Barcelona.

In addition to not regularly starting, Garnacho “does not understand why the Dutch coach always removes him from the field of play and does not make him play every minute.”

The Carrington academy graduate apparently considers himself a potent source of attacking threat and believes he has plenty to offer the team if afforded more minutes.

Garnacho is also of the opinion that United “are not fulfilling the promises they made him when he signed” a new deal. The report explains that the 20-year-old was told that “he would fight for titles and play in the Champions League every year” but that has not materialised.

Hansi Flick’s side are “one of the clubs that have received Garnacho’s call.”

However, as it stands, Barca are not keen on pursuing the opportunity to sign Garnacho. Reinforcing the forward positions is no longer a pressing need for the Blaugrana.

It was recently confirmed that Garnacho withdrew from the Argentina national team with a knee injury.
