AC Milan clinched all three points against Bologna last night and thus won the ‘preparation clash’ ahead of the Coppa Italia final. Something the newspapers pointed out this morning.

After conceding the opener at the start of the second half, Milan picked themselves up – largely thanks to the subs – and turned the game around. Santiago Gimenez bagged a brace and Christian Pulisic also got on the scoresheet, making it four consecutive wins for the Rossoneri.

In other words, Sergio Conceicao and his men are entering the Coppa Italia final in the best form possible. Bologna, on the other hand, have one or two things to think about as the last few weeks have been far from ideal.
