La Liga outfit Girona have on Friday tied up a deal for a member of the midfield ranks at Italian heavyweights Juventus.
The player primed to make the move to Catalunya? Arthur.
Brazilian international Arthur has for his part endured a season to forget in Turin.
Not in the plans of new Juventus head coach Thiago Motta, the former Barcelona man has not been afforded a single minute of senior playing time.
The hope on the part of the Bianconeri, in turn, had long been to get Arthur off their books before the close of the winter transfer window.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, Juve have found their partners for such a deal.
As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the 28-year-old has agreed to link up with La Liga side Girona on loan for the remainder of the campaign:
‘Arthur Melo to Girona, here we go! Deal in place for loan move from Juve as Girona agreed on terms also for salary share.’
