A head-turning statistic, highlighting the brilliant start to life being enjoyed by Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick in meetings with Real Madrid, has come to the fore online.
This, of course, comes fresh off Flick’s Barca making short work of their Clásico rivals on Sunday evening.
After making the trip to Jeddah for the final of the Spanish Super Cup, the Blaugrana ran riot, en route to an eventual 5-2 triumph.
This came after Kylian Mbappé’s early opener was followed by five successive goals for the Catalans, courtesy of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha (2) and Alejandro Balde.
And, as alluded to above, such stellar exploits on Barcelona’s part have since given rise to quite the statistic.
As revealed by statistician MisterChip, Hansi Flick has now enjoyed an even greater start to life in Clásico fixtures than Blaugrana legend Pep Guardiola.
Whilst the latter managed an aggregate scoreline of eight goals to two across his first two meetings with Real Madrid on the Barca bench, Flick has gone one better, with a record of 9-2.
